Tagged
An unusual post for this blog, but as I have been tagged (http://labaleineaplumes.webou.net/?p=101) here are my probably not very interesting secrets.
1 I hate baked beans. They are something I never buy, but was reminded how much I hate them earlier today. In fact, even thinking about them is making my toes curl, so on to the next secret
2 I hate the cinema. Yes, it's true. I really don't like going to the cinema. The last film I saw was Crocodile Dundee and I can't think of a reason to go to see another. Why? They are SO NOISY. I won't go until I can control the sound and have it at the volume I want. I have very sensitive hearing, too much noise is painful.
3 I only read non fiction.
4 I write poetry. Here is one I wrote last year when my grandson was born. Some of you have read it before.
5 I had a place at drama school (RADA) and turned down the place to become a speech therapist. I have never regretted turning it down, even though I had fun on the amateur stage. (A long time ago now)
6 I was born on the steps of a hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne. I wasn't due for a while, but came anyway and have been unpredictible ever since!
